Trevor Bartlett
PERCUSSION
Trevor graduated with a Masters Degree in Percussion performance from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2011. He has an active solo career, as well as performing regularly with a number of chamber ensembles including Harp and Percussion Duo Sticks&Strings and Manchester based contemporary group Sounds of the Engine House.
Trevor performed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms broadcast live on BBC Radio 4. He has performed in countries all over the world including Hong Kong, China, Italy, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Spain and at UK venues such as Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, Symphony Hall Birmingham, Philharmonic Hall Liverpool, and the Bridgewater Hall.
Trevor has performed with Northern Silents many times, including Ben Hur, Flesh and the Devil, The Lost World (Sheffield), Battleship Potemkin (York and Sheffield), The General (York, Hull, Morecambe), Metropolis (Morecambe, Holmfirth, Chester). He is also a founder member of silent film improvising group, Frame Ensemble, with whom he has performed scores for The Woman Men Long For, Metropolis, Strike, South, The Great White Silence, Au Bonheur des Dames, and many others.
