Susannah Simmons

VIOLIN

Susannah combines a first violin position with the Orchestra of Opera North with a busy freelance career. She likes to mix things up a bit with performances ranging from Wagner’s epic Ring Cycle to folk, jazz, studio and home recordings for well known pop and folk artists. She is a specialist in Argentinian Tango Violin and has featured as soloist with some of the world's leading Tango ensembles.

Susannah’s Northern Silents performances include Chicago (Morecambe Winter Gardens) and The Immigrant/One Week (Marsden Mechanics).
